The Jazz Ambassadors
From beginning to end last nights
concert featuring the U.S. Army's “Jazz Ambassadors” was a true
delight! A mix of traditional jazz greats, big band swing, Cuban
fusion and even a few patriotic numbers created a most satisfying
evening of great music and a feeling of pride in ones country. Their
“Armed Forces Salute” left not a single dry eye in the house and
not a single heart unmoved. I would like to thank the Historical
Society for sponsoring this event and I look forward to next year as
well.
Fresh Eyes
Observations from the outside...
I am new to the Tecumseh area.
Although I was not born here, this is where I am choosing to make my
home and raise my family. I have been in town for all of 72 hours
and I am already falling in love with the pace and people of
Tecumseh. I have been welcomed like one of your own and I look
forward to enmeshing myself in this, my new community. I hope to
blog about my observations as an outsider to the community and
perhaps we can all learn something from my fresh eyes...
Thank you for making this West Virginia
boy feel less homesick than I could ever have hoped for.
