Events a reminder that Tecumseh is ‘a special place’ to be

To the Editor,Wow! I know that isn’t the most exciting word in the English language to explain something, but if you were not at the Tecumseh Pops Orchestra and Community Chorus program on Sunday night, you missed it! Everyone that was there couldn’t believe that these are our local folks, sounding like the best of the best from New York City. We didn’t want the program to end.I could name names, but how could I list everyone that was on the stage. It was a special group and evening.

Community orchestra, chorus, soloists were ‘outstanding’ at TCA

To the Editor,Yesterday afternoon, Sunday, May 4, at the Tecumseh Center for the Arts, my husband and I attended the best concert I’ve been to in a long time, presented by the Tecumseh Pops Orchestra and Community Chorus. It was “An Evening With Rodgers & Hammerstein,” conducted by Dr. James Ball and Mary Hofmeister. Both the chorus and orchestra were outstanding. To make it even more enjoyable, four excellent soloists performed: Tom Hodgman, Clayton Parr, Sarah Nowak, and Mary Hofmeister. What a compliment they were to the total presentation.

Thanks local Rotary Club for cleanup of Tecumseh-Clinton Rd.

To the Editor,A big thanks to the Tecumseh Rotary Club for their cleanup of the Tecumseh-Clinton Road. I travel that road a lot and underneath the piles of snow were piles of litter and trash. Judging by the amount of plastic bags after the Adopt-a-Highway service project… there was lots of trash. I want you to know how much I, and other community members, appreciate your clean-up project. We all work hard in the spring to clean up our own yards but you and your members donated extra time and energy to cleaning up one of the major roads in our area.
