To the Editor,The article “New ball fields going up at Tecumseh High School” was a good illustration of many things that are important to a small community such as ours. The project to build the fields has been underway for almost two years, and showcases what numerous volunteers, including coaches, students and players, along with generous donations of time, talent and supplies from many local businesses can accomplish.
To the Editor,A big thanks to the Tecumseh Rotary Club for their cleanup of the Tecumseh-Clinton Road. I travel that road a lot and underneath the piles of snow were piles of litter and trash. Judging by the amount of plastic bags after the Adopt-a-Highway service project… there was lots of trash. I want you to know how much I, and other community members, appreciate your clean-up project. We all work hard in the spring to clean up our own yards but you and your members donated extra time and energy to cleaning up one of the major roads in our area.
