Clinton and Britton Deerfield track and field athletes opened the season with the Clinton Redwolf Invitational on Saturday.

Tecumseh’s Mossburg, Danley place 1st in Fowlerville Open

Tecumseh boys Ryan Mossburg and Max Danley placed first in the Fowlerville Early Season Open on Friday.

Mossburg won the 400-meter race with a time of 55.15 seconds while Danley notched a personal-best time of 42.52 seconds to win the 300-meter hurdles.

William Stacey Anderson, age 75, of Tecumseh, Mich., passed away, March 27, 2024 at Toledo Hospital, Toledo, Ohio, surrounded by his family. He was born May 24, 1948, in Tecumseh, the son of Lynn and Freda (Hebb) Anderson. On June 16, 1979, he married Shar F. Rentschler in Tecumseh.

Tecumseh girls soccer has entered a new era after the departure of three-year coach Matt Twiss and the graduation of several star players.

The program is now led by coach Paul Wellman who has 15 years of varsity head coaching experience.
