To the Editor,On Wednesday, August 7, we lost our nine-year-old cocker spaniel to a massive tumor that burst in his stomach. As with all pet owners, I was devastated and cried and cried from a broken heart.Almost two weeks later I feel very lost without him under my feet.Originally, he was a rescue dog that was found in a field six years ago. I know I gave him a good life and he gave me his unconditional love. The evening of his death I called Dr. Lori Tritt after hours. She was fabulous in her compassion and her professional manner in handling a grieving situation.
