The Lenawee District Library will be showing the heartwarming film “Ordinary Angels”(2024). This movie, based on a true story, will be shown on Thursday May 9th from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. and at 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Ages 16 and up are welcome.

Family storytime is returning to the Lenawee District Library. Every Tuesday morning, kids will enjoy music and movement, as well as imagination exploration through a variety of stories. While geared toward younger readers, older siblings are welcome.

A proposal for a gravel pit off S. Occidental Highway near Gady Road got the proverbial boot from the Raisin Township Planning Commission last Tuesday night after commissioners determined the applicant, Philip DeLuca of Lucky Strike Sand and Gravel, L.L.C.

The first steps in improvements to the city’s water system and waste water treatment plant were taken at Monday night’s city council meeting when councilmembers voted 4-3 to approve an agreement with Johnson Controls, Inc. (JCI) to assist in the process.

A celebration of Wendy Sue Sellers’ (Power) life will be held April 27 at Ivy Lawn Funeral Home on Daily Drive in Camarillo, Calif. Wendy was born in Adrian, Mich. on May 9, 1950. As a child, she enjoyed many adventures with her brothers, Rob and Alan, sister, Carol, and cousin Jill.

Carol Lucille Langowski, age 82 of Adrian passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at the Hospice of Lenawee Home in Adrian. She was born July 2, 1941 in Manchester the daughter of the late Steven and Ruth (Rowe) Heselschwerdt.

The Tecumseh Pops Orchestra & Community Chorus are proud to present their Annual Spring Concert, Classics Through Time, on Sunday, May 5. The concert is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. at the Tecumseh Center for the Arts (TCA), 400 N. Maumee in Tecumseh.
