‘Please vote in support of our Tecumseh District Library’

To the Editor,“A library is not a luxury but one of the necessities of life.” — Henry Ward Beecher. “A library is the delivery room for the birth of ideas, a place where history comes to life.” — Norman Cousins. “If you want to get (edited), go to college. If you want an education, go to the library.” — Frank Zappa. “Education’s purpose is to replace an empty mind with an open one.” — Malcolm Forbes. “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.” — Benjamin Franklin. Please vote in support of our Tecumseh District Library on Tuesday, May 7th, and support the programs, activities, Internet access and so much more (like the ability to find not only quotes from these people but their other works), all available at the local library. Just keep in mind, there are limitations: “If truth is beauty, how come no one has their hair done at the library?” — Lily TomlinJay BaughTecumseh
