Ann Arbor, Michigan Stamp Show November 3-4, 2018
Introduce your child to stamps, learn the value of that old album, see collection displays, and buy U.S. and foreign stamps and postal history at the Ann Arbor Stamp Show. The show, sponsored by the Ann Arbor Stamp Club, will take place November 3 and 4, 2018. Show hours are 10 a.m.–5 p.m.Saturday and 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Sunday at Morris Lawrence Building, Washtenaw Community College, 4800 E. Huron River Drive, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104 (just north of the Golfside-Clark Rd intersection).
Parking and admission are free; sign-in registration required.
At the heart of Michigan’s second largest stamp show are:
• 28 stamp, cover and collector supply dealers from nine states, some as far as Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Wisconsin and Kentucky;
• Collectors display exhibits of stamps and postal history by country and topic
• A youth area with free stamps for beginners;
• The Peninsular State Philatelic Society will meet Saturday at 2 p.m.
• Cachet makers showing their art each day.
The U.S. Postal Service (a show co-sponsor), and the United Nations Postal Administration will have recent issues for sale.
Lunch or a snack can purchase it from MiRcore, an Ann Arbor Huron High School student group which raises funds to support genetic research for human health.
