America must return country, Constitution back to the people

To the Editor,America, we have a problem!The crew of the U.S. Apollo 13 moon flight reported a problem back to their Houston base on April 14th, 1970. A slight misquote: “Houston, we have a problem” was adapted for the 1995 film — Apollo 13. An oxygen tank had exploded two days into the mission, which triggered a life-threatening event for the crew. The new mission became the safe return of the crew, which happened on April 17th. Fast Forward: “America, we have a problem!” Like the crew of Apollo 13 who faced the threat of running out of oxygen, our freedoms are being vented away by means of an arrogant President. He took the following oath of office: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” He swears, but not solemnly. He executes the Office of President, but is faithful only to his radical agenda for “fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” To the best of his ability will never include preserving, protecting and defending the Constitution. His agenda is to execute his “social justice” mission of redistribution. Obama’s appointed Attorney General picks the laws he will “ignore.” This President picks winners and losers, demonizes the opposition, and issues dictatorial executive orders when our Congress will not pass what he wants. Through his ‘Czars,’ deception, regulations and policies he really is “transforming” America.Obamacare (passed with zero Republican votes) is a highly visible example of micro management of the people by our central government. That’s not government by the people, for the people. That’s Obamanism being forced upon everyone allowing zero input from the opposition. His hope and change is about divisive “middle class” warfare. That implies a low and high class too. Just make Obama the king or dictator and be done with it. Like the oxygen tank that exploded two days into the Apollo 13 mission, our “Clear and President Danger” was exposed during his first two years in office. He was slowed down but not stopped by the outcome of the 2010 mid-term election. He works around our Constitution, which is still getting in his way. Our current mission must be to return our country and Constitution safely back to the people on November 6th.Allen GrahamTecumseh
