Annie Eileen Seizert

Annie Eileen Seizert, age 87, of Tecumseh, Mich., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016 at Cambrian Assisted Living in Tecumseh. She was born on October 2, 1929 in Marion Co., Ala., the daughter of the late Lonnie N. and Edith Grace Garrison. On April 28, 1972 she married Robert Seizert and they shared 44 loving years together before his passing in January of this year.

Eileen was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Adrian, Mich.

She is survived by her daughter, Shirley (Gary) Honeycutt of Tecumseh and a son, David Seizert of Blissfield, Mich.; a sister, Patricia (Thomas) Johnson of Port Charlotte, Fla.; three grandchildren, Rob (Tabitha) Crawford, Ryan (Tricia) Crawford and Lisa (Bryan) Osborne; four great-grandchildren, Victoria Quick, Drake Crawford, Carlie Crawford and Courtney Crawford; two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Eileen was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Joyce; two brothers, Henry and Lonnie Jr. and a sister, Inez.

Visitation for Eileen will be held on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016 at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes from 3-7 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, Nov. 11, 2016 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Greg Burdine officiating. Burial will follow in Palmyra Cemetery.
