Barbara L. McAuliffe
Barbara L. McAuliffe, age 78 of Tecumseh and most recently of Monroe, passed from this life Saturday in her home.Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Monroe.As a Registered Nurse, Barbara was employed at the I.H.M. Motherhouse in Monroe and then for several years at the Adrian Health Department before retiring.She is survived by her husband Francis of Monroe; two sons, Francis (Dawn) McAuliffe III of Ann Arbor and Stephen (Melissa) McAuliffe of Monroe; three daughters, Dollene (Marty) Smallbone of Dowagiac, Michigan, Kelly Johnson of Mundelein, Illinois and Mary McAuliffe of Monroe; a brother; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.Barbara is preceded in death by a son Matthew, a daughter Laurie Rassel, and a brother.Memorial donations may be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice.Online condolences may be sent through www.ruppfuneralhomeinc.com.
