BD falls 10-6 in game 2

Britton Deerfield’s varsity football team lost 10-6 at Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes on Saturday, Sept. 1.

Junior Leighton Merritt rushed for 76 of the Patriots’ total 166-yards of offense.

BD’s Nate Hoffman completed 5-of-21 passes for 53 yards. Two of his passes were intercepted.

The Patriots are now 1-1 overall with the loss. BD plays at home against Clinton on Friday, Sept. 7, beginning at 7 p.m.
