Benefit for Daily Bread of Lenawee succeeds in raising $3,500

To the Editor,What a wonderful community we live in! Carter Rehabilitation and Aquatic Centers in Tecumseh and Adrian along with WLEN held their annual Twelve Days of Christmas Benefit on Tuesday, Dec. 2. All proceeds are going to the Daily Bread of Lenawee Inc. Jointly we raised $3,500.The generosity of our communities in helping the less fortunate is truly outstanding.I would like to thank the Tecumseh Big Boy for food and service at both locations. The Big Boy and the Tuckey family are a blessing we are most thankful for. I cannot thank our local merchants enough for their contributions and support! Area businesses, which continually support all areas of our community, are Subway of Tecumseh, Basil Boys, Holiday Inn Express of Adrian, Martin’s Home Center, Evans Street Station, Tilton and Sons Shoes, British Tea Pantry, Daily Grind, Tecumseh Center for the Arts, Rock Paper Scissors, JR’s Hometown Pub and Grill, Boulevard Market, Fiesta Ranchera, Taco Bell, and the Cancun Mexican Restaurant. Without you we would not be able to continue with our tradition of providing local families the essentials of daily life. You are all greatly appreciated! It is encouraging to live in a community of so many individuals and businesses who come together for such a worthwhile cause!Christine L. WarnerCarter Rehabilitation and Aquatics
