Benefit recipient thanks friends, family for support at event

To The Editor,What a group of friends I have! I gotta thank a whole lot of people starting with Tim and Sandie Spicer who were kind enough to let us use their place to host The Jim Harvey “That’s What Friends Are For” benefit in their barn and back yard on Sunday Sept. 2. To Pat Dunn and Jim Ingle who came up with the idea and performed like the musicians that they are. Wally Pike... what a great DJ and MC. Jeremy Blaska, you are so talented. Bill Lewis & the Soulbacks (Dave, Greg, Bill, Wally and Danny Hare.) OMG... hands down, the greatest band in the land. Thank you so much. To Eddie and Eric for manning the BBQ all day. My daughter Jill Koeppe for putting together the Facebook event page, and singing at the concert. What a voice. A huge thanks to the Muk Open and Muk’s Pub. Thank you Papenhagen Construction. And, of course, to the friends and family that showed up and to the many others that helped support the concert. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I have been truly blessed to be surrounded by great friends and family members such as all of you. Thank you all.Jim HarveyTecumseh
