Betty Kukral Bagnall
Betty Kukral Bagnall, 88, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016 at Lynwood Manor with her daughter Bonnie and niece Debbie by her side. She was born, October 10, 1927 in Clinton, the daughter of Wallace and Viola (Sprowell) Escott. On June 17, 1945 she married William J. Kukral Sr. and they shared 39 years before his death in 1984. In 1990 she married Joseph Bagnall, and he preceded her in death in 2009.
Betty is survived by her children, Joseph (Stephanie) Kukral, Bonnie Kukral and Wanda (Ralph) Saylor; stepchildren, David, James and Sandy Bagnal; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her brother Charles Escott; and a sister, Madeline (Maynard) Howard.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, William; second husband, Joseph; her son, William Kukral Jr.; a daughter, Ida Dermyer and siblings.
Visitation for Betty will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at the Clinton Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Hope Lutheran Church, Adrian, Mich., with the Rev. Paul Herter and Rev. Joe Adams officiating.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Burial will follow at Lenawee Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee.
