Cambrian Memory Care to celebrate Grand Opening

The public is invited to the Grand Opening of Cambrian Memory Care on Sunday, Sept. 7, from 1-4 p.m. at the new residential care facility located off N. Occidental Hwy. at 1415 Short Street behind Cambrian Assisted Living.Owners Denise and Gareth Zebley will be joined by Mayor Dick Johnson and other dignitaries for a ribbon cutting ceremony at 2 p.m.Cambrian Memory Care will provide a living option for those affected by dementia, including Alzheimer’s Disease. The facility has 26 apartments, some for double occupancy, for 35 residents.“We are trying to make memorable moments,” said Denise during a recent tour. “Our goal is to have residents feel success and satisfaction each day through activities designed at different levels.”The layout of Cambrian Memory Care provides a continuous walking path, courtyard, ambient lighting, diversional spaces, multiple dining areas, spa room with therapuetic tub, beauty salon, meditation room and workshop.The 20,000 square foot facility opens officially on Monday, Sept. 8.
