Catherine (Katie) Irma Rozsa-Zephyr
Catherine (Katie) Irma Rozsa-Zephyr, 86, of Zephyrhills, Fla., passed December 28, 2015. She was born in Ecorse, Mich., to Alex and Mary Rozsa. Katie graduated from Petersburg High School, then spent 33 years working at American Chain & Cable in Adrian. She lived most of her adult life in Tecumseh. Katie was married to Bob Zephyr for three years until his passing in 2004. They resided in N.W. Ohio. She moved to Zephryhills Fla., in 2012, surrounded by exceptional, wonderful caring neighbors. She loved the many years on her bowling leagues in Adrian. She loved traveling. She loved her siblings and their children and was always helping out. She loved family reunions and just to party in general.
She is survived by her brother Paul Rozsa of Adrian and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, and siblings: Zolt, Blackie, John and sister Betty.
Her ashes will be buried this Saturday, Oct. 15, at Petersburg Pleasant View Cemetery at the Rozsa Family plot at 2 p.m.
A reception at Applebee’s in Dundee, on M-50 at U.S. 23 will follow at 3 p.m.
Katie’s bright smile and laughter is missed, and her very positive attitude will always be an example and cherished.
