Cecelia Guistina Johnson
Cecelia Guistina Johnson, age 94 of Clinton died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017 at Chelsea Retirement Community. She was born January 19, 1923 in Iron Mountain to the late Angelo and Catherine (Carollo) Nocerini. On August 5, 1950, she married Floyd Johnson, and they were married 60 years before he passed away on July 30, 2010.
She was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church. Cecelia worked at Ford Motor Company for 30 years, retiring in 1975. She enjoyed dancing, bowling and playing cards. Cecelia also liked to sew, crochet and knit.
Cecelia is survived by a sister, Virginia Beitel of Kingsford, Mich.; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Judy Ann and two brothers, Peter and Richard.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017 at St. Dominic Catholic Church, Clinton. Visitation was from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday at the church. Burial was in St. Dominic Cemetery.
Arrangements are with Handler Funeral Homes, Clinton.
Memorial contributions may be made to Arbor Hospice.
