Charles B. Wallace, age 77, formerly of Tecumseh, passed away in Phoenix, Ariz., April 18, 2013.

He was born June 3, 1935 in Illinois to John R. and Versie Denton Wallace. While living in Michigan, Chuck worked for Ford's and Clarke Equipment before relocating to Arizona in the late 1980's.

Chuck loved country music and you could find the radio on at all times. Chuck also had a talent for drawing and painting and his pictures are cherished by those fortunate enough to have one.

Chuck is survived by his daughters, Kimberly (Jack) Armstrong of Crane Hill, Ala., and Mamie Wallace of Tecumseh and a sister Dorothy (Donald) Doering of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; former wife, Frances R. Henson; brother, Donald S. Wallace and two half siblings, Lee Smallman and Rose Cooper of Ballard County, Ky.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013 at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh, with burial following in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Messages to the family may be made online at www.pursefuneralhome.com.
