Cheryl Ann Metz
Cheryl Ann Metz, age 68, passed away on April 2, 2015 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Ann Arbor, MI on January 19, 1947 to Lamar and Shirley (Kouhn) Braun. On March 18, 1969 she married the love of her life, Michael Metz in Basel, Switzerland.Cheryl loved to go on long walks, going out to dinner with family, motorcycle rides with Mike. She loved to watch all the seasons change, and her favorite holiday was Christmas, she loved Christmas. Her regular meeting with her friends, she truly enjoyed. Cheryl will be greatly missed by her family and friends.Cheryl is survived by her loving husband, Mike, her two sons, Scott Frederick (Gina) Metz and Brian Michael Metz, grandchildren; Madison Sydney Metz and Bethani Elizabeth Genett, brother; Thomas (Cynthia) Braun, sisters; Gail (Alan) Robinson, and Marlene (Walter) Holloway. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kim C. Braun. Visitation for Cheryl will be held on April 7, 2015 at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on April 8, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
