Clinton boys run undefeated

Clinton’s varsity boys track team improved its record to 3-0 with a 81-24 victory over Morenci on Tuesday, April 23. Earning first place for Clinton were: Jimmy Gorlitz (shot put, 34’11”), Nate Kaszuba (discus, 123’6”), Noah Poore (long jump, 18’5”), Ryan Piatt (high jump, 6’0”), the 3200-meter relay team (Ryan Rogers, Justin Swisher, Jimmy Phillips, Dominic Muessig, 8:54), Jimmy Fisher (110-meter hurdles, 19.5), Mathew Sexton (100-meter, 11.6), the 800-meter relay team (Sexton, Tyler Underwood, Ryan Piatt, Tom Vinton, 1:39), Muessig (1,600-meter, 4:55, 800-meter, 2:04) and the 400-meter relay team (Mike Mistopoulos, Poore, Zach Satlowski, Dustin Hatt, 49.8). Placing second for Clinton were Kaszuba (shot put), Mistopoulos (discus), Ryan Rogers (1600-meter, 800-meter) and Piatt (400-meter). Placing third for Clinton were Mistopoulos (shot put), Gorlitz (discus), Vinton (high jump), Joe Spence (110- meter hurdles, 300-meter hurdles), Poore (100-meter) and Swisher (1600-meter). The 3,200- and 1600-meter relay events were postponed due to inclement weather.
