Clinton, Britton Deeerfield compete at Pittsford

Clinton and Britton Deerfield’s cross country teams competed at the Pittsford Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 26. The meet had a race for each grade in both male and female divisions.Clinton placed 13th in the senior girls’ race while the senior boys’ placed 21st. The Redskins’ junior boys placed fourth while the junior girls finished 12th. Clinton’s sophomore girls placed sixth while the sophomore boys were 18th. Clinton was represented by one lone runner, Josh Draper, in the freshman race and he ranked Clinton 18th.Sara Allen placed 20th for Clinton’s senior girls with a time of 27:00 while Nick Lacoss crossed the finish line in 54th place in (29:36) for the boys. In the juniors’ race, Gene Dudek placed 21st (18:25) for the boys while Alexis Bruecker placed 29th (27:31) for the junior girls. Noah Smith placed 38th in the sophomore race for the boys (22:03) while Shianne Muessig placed 18th (25:02) for the girls.The Patriots did not submit division placements, as team scores were not available immediately following the event.BD’s senior girls were led by Morgan Tilley (10th, 24:43) while the sophomore girls were led by Megan Bower (10th, 23:01)The Patriots were led in the freshman girls by Madelyn Cole (19th, 26:24).BD’s senior boys were led by Dylan Murrin (8th, 18:54) while Garrett Woerner (28th, 20:48) led Clinton’s junior boys.
