Commends the Tecumseh Police Department

To the Editor,Contrary to some people’s beliefs, the Tecumseh Police Department is here to protect and serve, not just arrest people. A couple of weeks back, it was a very cold day and a patrol car pulled up to a friend’s house I was at. They found a little boy three or four years old wandering down the street without a coat. My friends and I started searching the area for the parents. The officer at the time was making the little boy as calm and being as friendly as they could be. They had the little boy wrapped up in the officer’s coat. That sight just caught my heart. I commend the officers for being so caring. The little boy’s parents were located.Thank you to the Tecumseh Police Department.Paul S. WegnerDuane KnightTecumseh
