Couple grateful for ‘caring neighbors’ who folded flag

To the Editor,On January 19, we experienced strong winds during the night so strong that our flagpole, with the American flag on it, was blown down, onto the driveway. I noticed it when I got up and thought I would pick it up when we left for church. At 8:30 I opened the garage door and found that someone had come by, unhooked the flag, folded it in the proper military triangle, and laid it on our doormat. My wife and I don’t know who this gracious person was that did such a wonderful and kind act. It gives us a warm feeling to know that we live in a community where people have respect and pride for our country. They didn’t do it to make an impression they did it because they love and respect the good ole USA and are caring and considerate neighbors. We would like to thank this neighbor for his gracious act on that windy morning.Ron and Carolyn PubliskiTecumseh
