D’Ambrosio returns to the Tecumseh Center for the Arts on March 9
There is a very special performance coming to the Tecumseh Center for the Arts March 9 with the return of Franc D’Ambrosio. Tecumseh Center for the Arts has a long tradition of presenting Broadway stars, music legends and other national and world class performances. It’s not often that the TCA will bring those same world class artist back for a repeat performance, and rarely in the very next season. Last season, D’Ambrosio performed his famous “Broadway” show at the TCA. The demand from all in the audience to “please bring him back” was answered with a scheduled performance of Franc D’Ambrosio’s Hollywood: Songs of the Silver Screen at the TCA Saturday, March 9 at 7:30 p.m. D’Ambrosio is a leading man of the stage, Broadway and of films. He is notorious as the best and longest running “Phantom” in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Phantom of the Opera.” His resume also includes nominations in an Academy Award film, Emmy Award nominated TV show, many Tony award nominations. D’Ambrosio also starred in Francis Ford Coppola’s movie Godfather III. D’Ambrosio also sang the Academy Award winning song from that same movie. The March 9 performance will feature songs from Hollywood’s greatest movies, including songs, Singing In the Rain, Moon River, Some Enchanted Evening, Impossible Dream and of course selections from Phantom of the Opera.
