David Lee Hunt

David Lee Hunt age 77, of Clinton, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. He was born September 8, 1942 in Tecumseh, the son of the late Merle E. and Dorothy (Philo) Hunt. On March 24, 1990 he married Mary Sebastian and she preceded him in death on November 9, 2013.

Dave proudly served his country in the US Army. He retired after 37 years of service from Ford Motor Company in Rawsonville. Dave was a Mason and a member of the Clinton Masonic Lodge #175. He loved spending time outdoors fishing and hunting.

Dave is survived by his son, Darin L (Debbie) Hunt of Lapeer; daughter, Kimberly (Tim) Murphy of Tecumseh; brother, Terry (Deborah) Hunt of Bradenton, Fla.; three grandchildren, Kendra and Brandan Hunt and Alicia Miller; and two great-grandchildren, Eladio Martinez and Zackary Williamson.

In accordance to Dave’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Service will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clinton Masonic Lodge #175.  Arrangements are under the care of the Clinton Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes.
