Denise Bird
Denise Bird, age 59 of Adrian, passed away Friday, Dec. 8, 2017 at Hospice of Lenawee Hospice Home. She was born September 14, 1958 in Tecumseh to the late Raymond and Jane (Dowling) Bird.
She graduated from the Porter Center in 1984. Denise lived at the AFC Home on Marvin Drive in Adrian for several years
Denise is survived by three sisters, Carol (John) Marckel of Toledo, Nancy Stapleton of Britton, and Sharleen Burgess of Tecumseh; six nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Denise will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017 at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Zender officiating with visitation from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m.
Private burial will be in Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens in Tecumseh. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.handlerfuneralhomes.com
