Director grateful for community support of trip to Grand Rapids

To the Editor,We would like to take the opportunity to thank our community and school system for their support of our trip to Grand Rapids to perform in the 8th Michigan Music Conference. Our performance was well-received by the discriminating audience, and is one that we will remember with fondness, thanks to the generous support of the Tecumseh Public Schools, The Elizabeth Ruthruff Wilson Foundation, The Friends of Tecumseh Schools Orchestra, Brindamour Photography, Spectrum Printers, The Tecumseh Pops and Community Chorus, D&P Communications, First Federal Bank of Tecumseh, Hewlett Graphics and Wes and Theresa Powers, as well as the many donors who contributed to the orchestra the evening of the preview concert at the Tecumseh Center for the Arts.It is truly a joy to work in a community that supports the arts, and we are very grateful to you for giving us the opportunity to showcase our students and community at this state conference.Michael Bough, DirectorTecumseh Symphony Orchestra
