Donald A. Drexler

Donald A. Drexler, age 88, of Clinton died peacefully Sunday, April 21, at Evangelical Home in Saline surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 8, 1924 in Lima, Ohio, the son of Walter and Agnes (Hoormann) Drexler. He married Audrey Logan June 6, 1952. Sadly, she preceded him in death June 14, 1992.Don was a veteran of World War II, serving his country in the US Navy. He worked for Tecumseh Products Company for 47 years until retiring in 1989. Don was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed working in his garden and was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. Don is survived by his son Charles (Ruth) Drexler of Dundee; his daughters Barbara Yek of Pinckney, Susan Hamilton of Wassau, Wis., Sandra (John) Halchishak of Peoria, Ariz., Teresa (David) Davison of Tecumseh, and Janine Blackburn of Brooklyn; his brothers Albert Drexler of Adrian and Jim Drexler of Flat Rock; his sisters Florence (Albert) Wright of Monroe, Vera Hartman of Adrian and Sister Rita Drexler of Adrian; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Audrey, his parents and a brother preceded him in death.Services for Don will be private and a private burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Clinton.
