Doris Ingrid (Johnson) Glenday
Doris Ingrid (Johnson) Glenday, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2015, at Cambrian Assisted Living in Tecumseh. She was born in Springfield, Mass., to B. Friedolf and Britta (Friberg) Johnson and relocated to Michigan over 50 years ago. On April 30, 1955, she married her beloved, Martin J. Glenday who preceded her in death in 2012. Doris and Marty enjoyed many happy years at their home on Sand Lake in Onsted with their many devoted friends. Doris is survived by her brother-in-law, William G. Glenday of Florida and Keene, N.H., her sister-in-law, Ann D. Johnson of Old Lyme, Conn., and several nephews, great nieces and nephews.She is preceded by her parents, husband Marty, a brother, Bonde R. Johnson.A private graveside service will take place at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be made to an animal rescue shelter of the donor’s choice.
