Eagle Scout project completed at Indian Crossing Trails Park

On Saturday, June 29, Life Scout Timothy Soules successfully completed his Eagle Scout Project.Soules and his crew of scouts and volunteers from Tecumseh Boy Scout Troop 632 created two walking bridges on the outer hiking trail at Indian Crossing Trails Park. The project involved the planning, construction, and installation of two bridges that span streams that replaced old broken railroad ties. Soules began designing the Eagle Project several months ago. His crew carried the materials, tools, and precut lumber (which he had earlier pre constructed at his home) a quarter mile down the trail for final assembly at the two locations. This project successfully completed one of many requirements for Soules to earn scouting’s highest rank of Eagle Scout. Soules will be a senior at Tecumseh High School. He is the son of Tim and Jenny Soules of Tecumseh.
