Effects of Hurricane Sandy reach Lenawee County

It may seem unlikely that a hurricane would affect the Tecumseh area, but that’s exactly what happened on Tuesday as strong winds from Hurricane Sandy brought down numerous trees and limbs. Tecumseh Fire Chief Joe Tuckey said the department received several calls for blocked roadways, including the one above when a limb fell onto E. Chicago Blvd. near Rogers Hwy.
