Eleanora Richard

Eleanora Richard, age 90, of Adrian, passed away, December 16, 2013, in Adrian, Mich. She was born December 3, 1923, in Gilboa, Ohio, the daughter of William and Theresa (Kelly) Baker. Loving mother of; Diane Cox, David (Cyndi) Daniels, Mark (Judy) Richard, Dan (Sheryl) Richard and Ken (Jody) Richard. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by, her husbands, Chester Raymond Daniels and Timothy Charles Richard, two children, Sandy Simpson and Michael Richard, her grandson, Ryan Daniels, four sisters, Francis Rupp, Wilma Smith, Alta Edds and Dorothea Parvin and two brothers, Lloyd Baker and John Baker. She worked as a switchboard operator, bookkeeper, bank teller and bank computer department manager. She and her second husband purchased Ten Pin Alley Bowling Center, Tecumseh, Mich., in 1976. The family continues to run the bowling center. She will be greatly missed by all.Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy (M-52) Adrian, Mich., with Pastor Greg Burdine officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery in Tecumseh, Mich. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee.
