Enjoys hearing screams of joy coming from the sky
To the Editor,When we first moved to Tecumseh and realized that almost daily you could see the skydivers we were so excited. It became part of our daily activities. You can tell when a plane is about to make a drop by the noise and I’d yell to the kids who run out the back door and count with glee how many there were this time. Something about hearing the faint screams of joy and terror, knowing that whoever it was has probably never felt more alive at that second is kind of wonderful. I love the joy that it has brought our family living here and was so excited to jump for the first time this summer with my husband for our anniversary. Love the Tecumseh skydive bus at every event and parade, being such a wonderful part of the community! Don't give up the fight; you are such an important part of this town!Hanna RussoTecumseh
