Frieda Mae Jeffrey
Frieda Mae Jeffrey, age 79, of Adrian passed away on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020 at Tecumseh Place. She was born May 22, 1940 in Lima, Ohio, a daughter of the late Raymond Robert and Opal Abigail (Thompson) Rola.
Frieda enjoyed traveling up north and going to West Virginia, and she loved camping trips, watching old movies and westerns, and she especially loved her pets.
She is survived by her children, Renata (Eric) Halberstadt of Tecumseh, Mich.; Selena (Jeff) Southwell of Adrian, Mich.; Ryan (Victoria) Szymanski of Clinton, Mich.; and her children from her second marriage, Paul Jeffrey of Clinton, Mich.; William (Shelly) Jeffrey Jr. of Clinton, Mich. and Nancy (Chuck) Willet of Lambertville, Mich.; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Kenneth Jeffrey Sr. and a son, Roderick Sean Szymanski.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Clinton, Mich. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lenawee Co. Humane Society. Arrangements are under the care of the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made to the family at handlerfuneralhomes.com.
