Gary Allen Furgason
Gary Allen Furgason, age 61, passed away on August 16, 2016, surrounded by his family at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. He was born on October 11, 1954 in Tecumseh, the son of Edward and Beatrice (Rarrick) Furgason. On April 7, 1979, Gary married the love of his life, Mary McElory, and they shared 37 wonderful years together.
Gary is survived by his loving wife, Mary; his sons, Gabriel (Heather) Furgason of Onsted and Bryan Furgason of Tecumseh; two beautiful grandchildren, Jack and Hannah Furgason; his brother, Tim (MaryAnn) Furgason of Tecumseh; and his sister, Sharon Argenti of Utica.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for Gary will be held on Friday, Aug. 19, 2016 at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes from 4-8 p.m. Funeral service will be Saturday at the funeral home at 11 a.m. with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial to follow at Franklin Township Cemetery, Tipton, Mich.
