Georgia Anna Drouillard

Georgia Anna Drouillard, age 81, of Britton, was called to Heaven on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014, at Lenawee Medical Care Facility. She was born March 5, 1933, in Deerfield to Cyril and Mary (Mrazek) Mlcek. On November 27, 1950, she married Eugene Drouillard who preceded her in death on April 14, 1993. Together they raised four children, Ann (Bob) Horky, Tom (Sheila) Drouillard, Shirley (Jim) Parros, and Kathy (Brad) Hamilton. She was a wonderful mom, sister, grandma, and great-grandma, who will be missed each and every day. She leaves behind 13 grandchildren, Heather, Carrie, Bridgette, Ben, Cody, Karlee, Melissa, Tonia, Sherry, Connie, Janell, Anthony, and Kaitlyn; 17 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Joe Mlcek of Blissfield.The Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church with Fr. Shaun Lowery as celebrant. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3-7 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Tecumseh, where there will be a Vigil Prayer Service held at 7 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Friday, from 10-10:45 a.m. at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church. A Family Prayer Service will be held at 10:45 a.m. to be followed by the service at 11 a.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.andersonfuneralservices.com. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Lenawee. Envelopes are available at the Anderson Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
