Geraldine (Gerri) L. Cooke
Geraldine (Gerri) L. Cooke, age 79, of Tecumseh, passed away November 5, 2013.Geraldine was born July 12, 1934, in Belle Center, Ohio the daughter of Clayton and Mary (Perry) Freshcorn. On May 8, 1954, she married Donald Cooke and he survives.Gerri was a loving and caring mother and grandmother.She is survived by her children, Connie (Bruce) Fann, Calvin (Amy) Cooke, Patti (John) Mulready and Derek (Kayla) Cooke; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; three brothers, Russell, Kenny, and Raymond Freshcorn and one sister, Edna Gilpin.She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jackie Lee; grandson, Franchesco and siblings, Chuck, Ruth, Leah, Billy and Mag.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh, with Pastor Jeff Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at the funeral home.Messages to the family may be made online at www.pursefuneralhome.com.
