Glennie H. Fore

Glennie H. Fore, age 92, of Tecumseh, passed away Sunday, March 10 at Magnum Care of Adrian. She was born February 2, 1921 in Madison County, N.C. the daughter of Cletes and Lillie Mae (Griffin) Rector. Glennie worked for Ford Motor Company as a Laborer in the Rawsonville Facility for 25 years, retiring in 1982. She then worked as a Nurse’s Aide at the University of Michigan for 10 years. Glennie was affiliated with the Shepherd Chapel in Arkansas.Glennie is survived by her daughter in law, Eileen Fore of Britton; two grandchildren, Kyle Fore and Kayla Brinkman; four great grandchildren, Carter and Camryn Fore and Zachary and Zane Brinkman. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Barbara Green; son Cletes Fore; and two sisters.Visitation for Glennie was held at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 10–11 a.m. The funeral service was held immediately following visitation at 11 a.m. with Pastor Tom Hawkins of NewSong Community Church officiating. Burial followed in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Great Lakes Hospice. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.handlerfuneralhomes.com.
