Harold (Fonz) Lloyd Emmons, Sr.

Harold (Fonz) Lloyd Emmons, Sr., age 80, of Tecumseh, passed away February 13, 2020 at home under the care of Hospice surrounded by his loving family. Harold was born December 25, 1939 in Inkster, Mich., the son of Lyonal and Caroline (Sny) Emmons. On October 8, 1977, he married Alice Mae Stack in Mesick, Mich.

Harold was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather, avid hunter and master woodworker. A retiree from GM-Willow Run, he is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Alice Mae (Stack) Emmons;  his sons and daughters, Harold (Janice) Emmons, Jr., Holly (Ken) (Myers) Wyvill, Ginger (Paul) (Myers) Fox, Carl (Kaitlin) Emmons, Jesse (Teresa) Love, Michelle Howe, Michael Emmons and Hollyanne (Emmons) Pripch; his 13 grandchildren, including Brandon Hella, Benjamin (Emmy) Fox, Tabitha (Micah) (Hella) Millar, Kendra (Travis) Hella, Braxton (Hayley) Hella, Chloe Emmons, Crystal (Bud) (Emmons) Mills and Harold (Buddy) (Kelli) Emmons III; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Alden (Candi) Emmons; sister, Carole (TJ) (Emmons) Lockarde; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Lyonal and Caroline (Sny) Emmons;  brother, Edwin Emmons and nephew, Robbie Emmons.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 19, at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Rev. Pete Valdez officiating.
Burial followed in Norvell Township Cemetery, Norvell.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, Feb. 18, and two hours preceding the service at  J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
