Harold L. Lange

Harold L. Lange, Tecumseh, Mich., formerly of River Rouge, Mich., age 88, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016 at the Saline Evangelical Home in Saline, Mich. Harold was born in River Rouge, Mich., the son of Edward and Myrtle (Pegouske) Lange. On July 8, 1967 in Clinton, Mich., he married Judie Hunt and she survives. Harold proudly served in the United States Army, 82nd Airborne, from 1947 to 1949, Michigan National Guard until 1964 and was a lifetime member of the 82nd Airborne Chapter. He started Skydive Tecumseh in August of 1963. With the help of his wife Judie and their daughters, they ran the skydiving business for 37 years. There were many good times and stories. Harold had a love of golf and bowling, and keeping the grass at the Meyers-Diver’s Airport looking like a fairway made him happy.

Survivors in addition to his wife include: their daughter Rebecca (Tim) Bochenek, daughter Jennifer (Bill) Miller, daughter Linda (Ed) Mack; son Larry (Linda) Lange, and son Barry (Karyn) Lange. Other survivors include: grandchildren Allison Miller, David Lange, John McCue, Lisa (Greg) Doryl, Jenny McCue, Matt Lange, Emily Lange and Megan Mack; five great-grandchildren and one brother, Bill Lange of Tuscon, Ariz.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers and sisters.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home of Saline.

Cremation has taken place and no memorial service is scheduled.
