Iileen W. Maynard
Iileen W. Maynard, age 79, of Tecumseh, passed away January 25, 2014.Iileen was born November 3, 1934 in Tecumseh, the daughter of Clarence and Emily (Cummings) Beach.On January 11, 1956, she married Ivan “Buck” Maynard in Angola, Ind. He preceded her in death May 8, 2008.Iileen was the bookkeeper in the family businesses from the age of twelve until the time of her death.She and her husband Buck enjoyed traveling, flying and visiting casinos.Iileen is survived by her sons, Randy (Maggie) Maynard and Jeffrey (Alice) Maynard; grandchildren, Curtis (Ashley) Maynard, Hutton, Mason, Blakeley and Pierce Maynard; great grandchildren, Zackary and Bailey Maynard and her lifelong friend, Jack Tonneberger.In addition to her husband, Buck, she was preceded in death by her parents.Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2013 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Pastor Bob Riddle officiating. Burial followed in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh.Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
