Indians led by youth at Adrian, set to host own Invite on Feb. 1

Tecumseh High School’s varsity gymnastics team traveled to Adrian’s Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 25, and placed third with its fourth and final team Regional qualifying score of 120.75. Saline won the meet with a score of 133.425 and was followed by Parma Western (2nd, 128.275), Jackson (4th, 111.225) and Jackson Northwest (5th, 106.725). The hosting Maples finished sixth (101.65).Tecumseh sophomore Kelsey Bogrow led the Indians during the event with a fourth place on bars (7.7), sixth place on floor (8.4), and sixth place in the All-Around (32.25). Freshman Brianna Price placed ninth on floor (8.15) for the Indians while freshman Hanna Swirple placed 10th on floor (8.1) and ninth in the All-Around (29.525). Bailie Posten finished 10th in the All-Around (29.35) for Tecumseh.The Indians were scheduled to travel back to Adrian on Monday, Jan. 27, but its dual meet was cancelledTecumseh travels to Coldwater on Thursday, Jan. 30 and hosts its own eight team invitational on Saturday, Feb. 1, beginning at 10 a.m.
