Investment in education worth the cost of supporting library millage

To the Editor,Features expected from a library include a friendly, and responsive staff, comprehensive children’s section, and easy access to the Internet.Tecumseh Public Library has these… and more!A well organized document room traces Tecumseh history back to its beginnings. Groups seeking a place to meet find a home there. There is a puzzle corner. The library boasts a huge selection of current magazines and newspapers. The monthly book sale presents an excellent market where any reader can find something at low cost.Popular, classic, non-fiction books, as well as compact discs are available.Research sources are plentiful.A good library, responsive to the community, is essential to any educational program in that community. A solid library not only underpins other local school libraries, but magnifies their value. This investment in education, for any community, is worth the cost.Paul C. FettersTecumseh
