Jane E. Hensen
Jane E. Hensen, age 84, of Tecumseh, passed away August 19, 2013.Jane was born March 18, 1929 in Orleans, Michigan the daughter of Frank and Marjorie (McClure) Hoekstra.She married Charles Hensen in Tecumseh, September 19, 1949 and he preceded her in death.Jane retired from the City of Tecumseh as the Assistant City Clerk after many years of service.Surviving Jane are her children, Michael (Kim) Hensen of Fayette, Ohio, Melanie (Paul) McGurin of Tecumseh, and Stephanie (Jim) Brown of Tecumseh; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.In addition to her husband Charles, she was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and a daughter,. Lorna.At her request cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be held at Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh at a later date.Messages to the family may be made online at www.pursefuneralhome.com.
