Jeffrey A. Kimpel
Jeffrey A. Kimpel, age 49, of Adrian, formerly of Tecumseh, passed away December 29, 2013.Jeff was born November 14, 1964 in Chilton, Wis., the son of Kenneth and Irene (Wood) Kimpel.Jeff was a graduate of Tecumseh High School and Washtenaw Community College. His enjoyments were family, golfing, bowling and being a Little League umpire.Jeff is survived by his siblings, Kenneth (Cheryl), Jr., Lee (Jane), Carl (Linda), Dianne (LaMar) Rufner and Roxann Peterson; several nieces and nephews and his Boston Bull Terrier, Molly.He was preceded in death by his parents; brother in law, Ronald Peterson; niece, Kendra Brock and nephew, Scott Kimpel.Memorial services will be 12 p.m. (noon) Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Friends of Michigan Animal Rescue, Belleville, Michigan.Messages to the family may be made online at www.pursefuneralhome.com.
