Jeremy N. Brodie

Jeremy N. Brodie, age 31, passed away on August 8, 2014. Born on February 25, 1983, Jeremy was always known for his bright smile and his upbeat personality. He especially loved caring for his beautiful daughter, Kaelyn Marie Brodie. Among his many talents, Jeremy was an accomplished drummer, having played with the Ann Arbor Highlanders Drum and Pipe Band, as well as playing in local Country and Rock and Roll bands. Jeremy had a special love for his chosen profession as a Body Repair and Painting Specialist. He was most recently employed at Ben’s Bump Shop in Adrian, Mich. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Kaelyn Marie Brodie; mother, Jolene Wyese; father, Jack (Barbara) Brodie; his sister, Jessica Brodie-Nunez (Marcelo) and their daughter Kendal Marie; his brothers, Matthew (Angie) Brodie and family and Michael (Stacy) Brodie and family.He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.A Memorial Celebration of Jeremy’s life will be held from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014 at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 210 W. Pottawatamie Street, Tecumseh, MI 49286.In lieu of flowers, the family will provide envelopes at the memorial for donations to an education trust fund for Jeremy's daughter, Kaelyn Marie Brodie.Messages to the family may be made online at www.pursefuneralhome.com.
