Joan Elinor Luck

Joan Elinor Luck, 62, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 21, 2015, at her home in Tecumseh.Joan was born on Easter Sunday, April 13, 1952, in Adrian, to Paul Herman and Margaret Elinor (Harsh) Luck. She was the youngest of their four children, and the only daughter. She graduated from Sand Creek High School in 1970, became a licensed beautician, earned three associate degrees and worked in a variety of occupations.She had many friends and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved animals, especially her cat, C. J. She attended St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Livonia, Mich., and was active in their prayer shawl ministry.She is survived by two brothers, Gordon (Janet) Luck of South Bend, Ind., and Norman (Dynetta) Luck of Jasper; sister in law, Diann Luck of Adrian; seven nieces and nephews; and 10 great nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her close friends Terri and Robert Beck and Janet and Tom Morris.She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gerald ‘Jerry’ Luck.A combined memorial service for Joan and her brother, Jerry, will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Jasper Bible Church, 8230 South Adrian Hwy., Jasper, with Pastors Bruce Jewett and Bradley Luck officiating.Wagley Funeral Home of Adrian is assisting with Joan’s arrangements. Private burial of cremains will be at Franklin Twp.
