Katherine Joanne McKenzie
Katherine Joanne McKenzie, age, 71 of Tecumseh died Sunday, May 12, 2013 at home surrounded by her family. She was born July 28, 1941 in Franklin Township to Harold and Dortha (VanWinkle) Sherrard. Katherine worked at General Motors until her retirement on October 10, 1999.Katherine is survived by one son, Steven (Lisa) McKenzie of Tecumseh; one daughter, Lisa Ann McKenzie of Comstock Park, Mich; three sisters, Sharron Brubaker and Ann Heisler both of Morenci and Ellen Lickfelt of Petersburg; one brother, Hugh Sherrard of Jackson; sister-in-law, Rosella Sherrard of Jackson; four grandchildren, Joshua, Danny, Ashley and Brittany and numerous nieces and nephews. Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Elwood Sherrard, a sister, Beverly Sherrard, one son, Mark McKenzie and her former husband, Chester Herman McKenzie.
