Kathy M. Christensen
Kathy M. Christensen, age 75, of Tecumseh, passed away July 11, 2019 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor. On December 7, 1943, she was born in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of Alexander and Helen (Welshons) Clark. On October 26, 1996, she married Charles A. Christensen and he survives.
Kathy was a member of Covenant Church, Tecumseh. In addition to her husband Charles, she is survived by her children, Pam (Gordon) Brighton, Steven (Vanessa) Bechler, Matthew Christensen, Caitlynn Christensen, Charles (Trish) Christensen, and Marcy (Bob) Miller; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Thomas (Diana) Clark. Her parents preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Rev. Richard Mortimer officiating. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh.
Visitation was from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday July 17, 2019 and from 10 a.m. until time of services Thursday at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Lenawee County Humane Society. Condolences to the family may be made online at pursefuneralhome.com.
